Mbale has been a great home for the previous years we have stayed, some suggestions to improve our holiday would be the addition of a dishwasher and a split system air conditioner in the main living area. I believe a large enough unit would be enough to cool the full house at a low cost. Aside from this, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be booking again for 2026.

We have been returning to this house for almost 30 years every Sept/Oct school holidays. We always feel like we’ve returned home. We love the location and the house has all the extras you might need in the kitchen. There’s even jigsaws and games for the kids and pencils etc. my children used to do jigsaws when we came to stay, now my grandchildren come and enjoy them! Kalbarri has so much to offer. The beaches, cafes, playgrounds, cycle paths, tourist sites , shops, bakeries and most of these things are in walking distance. If you haven’t come to Kalbarri- this is a perfect house!

The functionality, layout and supplies in this accomodation were perfect. My only complaints wete the shower curtain!!! The shower recess is reasonably small, the curtain is set back quite a way and it blows in onto your skin all of the time while showering (it needs weighting at the bottom or changing to a screen) and there was no measuring jug for cooking (very minor) The garden was fantastic for our dog,the beds and couches were super comfortable for us and the booking and key pick up were very easy.

Have been to Kalbarri many times over the years and if there was a place i would love to retire to it would be here. Autumn is a great time to visit and the only bad thing was the flies.Recommend Pelecans rest for meals and service.Mbale is a great stay but would be happy with cheaper acc that allows dogs.

The Managment Company was very professional and flexible for check in, which was greatly appreciated.
Extremely clean and well located.
My gripe was the house was more like a stay with your grandparents as a child, not the Kalabari holiday feel. From the old furniture, linen, full carpets, every cupboard had a label which made you feel uneasy. That dinner room table made me feel it was there for show, not to eat off.
Could be very well suited to some, but if you are after a place that makes you feel like you are on a "Kalbari get away", it doesn't give this vibe. Did bring back good memories of Nan tho. :)

We love staying at this house although I think the tree/garden bed out the back needs a tidy up, and maybe brick the backyard instead of having the dirt/blue metal rocks out there. We sit outside a lot and it is quite annoying to walk around and duck under the tree when the table is there. Another suggestion I could make is to have at least one decent sharp knife in the kitchen. Other than this the house is spot on, a split system in the lounge room would be very comfortable also. I look forward to my stay again in 2025.

Neat and tidy house. You can see the river and coast from the front garden, and the pub is a short walk away (there is nothing too far away in Kalbarri). There were two blue tongued lizards living in the back garden and we came back to find a big roo munching on the grass in the front garden one afternoon. The only minor issue was that the architrave running along the face-brick wall in the laundry was not sealed, meaning that bits if debris were being blown onto the work surface, but such a minor thing and easy for the owner to fix

WiFi would be useful & the labels & instructions is off putting, particularly when the inventory does not match. The location is good, close to town, Blue Holes & Chinaman's Beach. Nice new big refrigerator & good back garden & gates for dog/s. Very suitable for small family or couple.

Located across the road from Pelican shores accomodation , near hospital, physio , river mouth , nice stroll to the main part of town in less than 10 minutes .
3 bedroom brick house , main room has double bed , drawers and hanging space for clothes ( also has old tv and spare drawers , carpeted , bedrooms 2/3 have 2 single beds , drawers and hanging space for clothes , carpeted rooms ,
Seperate Toilet , bathroom , laundry with washing machine ( bit old and odorous )
Pets permitted outside , has a gate to the side of the house which leads to the back yard ( small boat or trailer can fit there . Under cover carport .
Kitchen with cutlery , plates etc , gas stove ,electric oven , no dishwasher .
Was not very clean at our most recent stay -I took photos and plan to forward to Ray White team for review .
Overall was ok for what we needed .

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a wonderful holiday home that ticked all the boxes for a perfect getaway. The location was fantastic, and I had an absolutely lovely time during my stay. The check-in and check-out process was a breeze, making the whole experience even more enjoyable.

One of the highlights of the property was the great backyard and entertaining area. It was the perfect place to relax and spend time with friends and family, and we enjoyed many meals and drinks out there in the beautiful weather.

While the property was generally great, there were a few small things that could have made it even better. For example, having a split system in the living room and other areas of the home would have been nice, as would proper cutting knives, a bath mat, and a door on the shower instead of a curtain. Additionally, the option for a mid-stay sheet and towel change would have been appreciated.

Despite these small suggestions for improvement, I would still highly recommend this holiday home to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway in a great location. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I look forward to visiting again in the future.

As a family we have been coming for 30 years every October to the beautiful town of Kalbarri on the Western Australian coast. We have stayed for most of those years in the same accomodation called MBale. Every time we come it’s like coming home. Kalbarri has changed over the years and attractions come and go but the beautiful scenery is still there and draws us back. Our children, partners and grandchildren all come now too. Kalbarri is the perfect family holiday destination.

We enjoyed MBale just what we need yard for dog the house is fine the mattresses are a bit old carpet old but really it’s great we would stay there again great location we have stayed @ Teka next door a few times years ago & both very good Thankyou we love Kalbarri & enjoyed our stay weather & fishing not so good but didn’t matter we had fun catching up with friends who live in Kalbarri Thanks for having us Margot & Peter Blakey PS my name is Margot

Location is great especially for a family with young children, the only downfall is the hot water doesn’t last more than one shower and one lot of dishes.

Very well-placed, clean, simple little home with everything we needed. With shops in the area closing so early it would be fabulous to arrive to a small starter-pack (eg) 5 teabags, 2-cup container of milk, 3 sugar sachets, 1 'coin-size' piece of soap, and a toilet roll. I understand it is the customers job to supply these for the stay but even miniatures of these products to arrive to at night when everything is closed would have been SO helpful and welcoming.

Convenient and quiet location, close to the river and conveniences. Excellent presentation throughout.
A much bigger fridge and freezer would have been preferred as would lighting over the BBQ or relocation of the BBQ to a lit part of the property.

Was clean tidy very nice stay

We came for a a fishing trip and brought our wives so needed something to suit both parts of the plan. This property is comfortable and suitable to park our large boat. A few maintenance items could be sorted, but other than that, comfortable property with good fit out in a brilliant location ie easy walk to town, short drive to gorges and of course not far from the boat ramp.

Have stayed in kalbarri each year for a long time now and it has a special place in my heart.This is the second time at Mbale and it is well situated to the river and shops and is very comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay and it is in a very good location.

2 couples and 1 single fitted very comfortably into this property. Plenty of space, great secure garden for our little dog and a very easy walk to beach. Property has everything we needed and was clean on arrival. Kalbarri businesses are as friendly as ever and we appreciated the great service.?

Mbale had everything we required,was clean and comfortable and well situated close to the beaches and town.The gas stove was playing up and called Ray WHite the agents who came within 15 mins to look at it and this was 4pm friday arvo. It needed repairs so the gas man arrived 20 mins later and had it working soon after.Great service.

We have stayed at this property for over 20 years at the same time (September - October,2-3 has always been a family affair!It started as our 3rd term school is a clean and comfortable place.The furniture has sometimes needed updating.The new Television was a winner!The lounge might be next!
