Patrick Crescent 18 - Kalbarri, WA

Tidy house but definitelty needs a deep clean. Wiped over from previous stays, but definitely not cleaned. Aircon needed in bedrooms as the one aircon unit in the living area does not provide cooling to kitchen area, bunk bedroom and last bedroom (past laundry). Could not use those rooms during the daytime due to the extreme heat. Extremely creaky floorboards in the kitchen area, even with bedroom doors shut. Would consider staying again but only in the cooler months.

Very relaxing but with many things to do that are in close proximity. Weather for this time of year was very good. Would not hesitate to come back to both the area and this particular property even though it was a little old in design and layout.

Fantastic accommodation, fantastic area, close walking distance to everything, had everything you could want in a holiday home.. would be good to have gates on the driveways to stop the dogs and kangaroos coming in and pooping everywhere though...

However after using this house for many years, it was disappointing to see the same old washing machine cupboard doors that don't shut cupboard doors that won't stay shut

Follow up call already made to RE agent.House had not one clean crockery or cutlery item, cushions on couch were disgustingly dirty, kitchen bakeware was old, unmatching and made every cooking task difficult, pans had teflon peeling off and overall not hygenic or safe. This resulted in us needing to buy our own cooking utensils (expensive and limited supply due to location) and eating out more than we had intended which due to having a family of 7, led to much more increased costs of our holiday which we had not planned for. We usually camp and this was a treat and meant to be an upgrade. It was harder as we did not have the modcons that we would usually have when camping! Beautiful old house in a lovely setting but in dire need of an upgrade (with furniture that does not look like it is off the verge collection!)It needs a THOROUGH clean and repairs done..beds in large room were all falling apart and slats being held on by rope! Most of the kids put mattresses in the lounge room each night to sleep as it was more comfortable than the bunks! Not very happy given the cost of this accommodation and I do have photos to send if needed.

It was fine

The property contained two steps that were not shown on the photos. The outside step on the patio side was not suitable for our grandchildren. The fan in the bathroom did not work. The kitchen was well-fitted out. I would recommend it as a basic holiday house with the bonus of a kangaroo in the backyard. We did enjoy all the attractions Kalbarrie had to offer;the river, fishing, the Gorges, the Pelicans and the hotel and cafes.

Fabulous stay, an old school holiday shack that while basic in features has everything you need to rock up and just do as you please. Fabulous location, plenty of space the cars and kids to run circles around the house - literally!

Very well placed to get to the IGA and the coffee shops. Plenty of room for cars and the boat. Undercover parking for the second car and good patio to sit out and have cheese and biscuits.Had to fix one bed before it could be used that had collapsed Washing machine needs to be replaced as no one could work out the twin tub

Second time I have stayed here. Visited Kalbarri to go fishing . No complaints about the accommodation clean ,everything worked OK though the bedrooms can get warm. The A/C only works in the living room. Reticulation came on at 3.00am which woke us up but otherwise a good clean well equipped rental.

Property was clean and tidy.
Plenty of parking including our boat.
Kitchen had everything we needed for a two week stay.
Lounge room was comfortable and plenty of lounge space.
Walking distance to everything in town.
For the price we paid it exceeded expectations. Only criticism would be the ceiling fans, they could do with replacing.

We had a great stay with our family here. There were 5 adults and 2 kids and was suitable for us all to be comfortable.
There is plenty of places to sit on couches, a big dining table and the kitchen had plenty of utensils, plates & cups so didn't have to wash every meal :)
It was clean and well set up.
Only downfall, as with most accommodation like this, was soft beds.
We would happily stay here again

We love Kalbarri and we enjoy visiting every 1-2 years, with our 3 kids. There is so much for them to do in and around the town.
We were saddened by the effects that Cyclone Seroja had on the town - and we were empathetic towards the residents who were exhausted but still working hard to keep the tourism industry ticking over.
Our stay at 18 Patrick Crescent was fine - the kids enjoyed the space (compared to being in a hotel/resort room). Understandably the property had weathered a cyclone 6 months before, so there were still fences being replaced, and building materials in the yard.
There was quite a bit of rubbish under the house and the yard/garden was in need of a good tidy-up.
We look forward to visiting Kalbarri again

The house was well equipped, and private, with a great location.

Older house but comfortable, room for a boat and all appliances worked properly. Plenty of hot water , comfortable beds..I'd stay again
