Large new Smart TV and stereo system in lounge room. Microwave, fridge/freezer, oven and stove in the kitchen. High chair and kids step stool available. Bathroom semi-ensuite to master bedroom, with bath, separate shower , Auto washing machine and separate toilet of the laundry.
Gas BBQ and outdoor furniture on small back patio. Small rear yard is fully enclosed. No Lawn, paving only ( not a lot of undercover area for pets). Front has lawn, single carport, room for small boat (dinghy). No Parking on the Lawn due to reticulation please. Walk out the front door and you are virtually on the river also very close to town and beaches. $50 dog fee applies. WIFI connected

Kalbarri is blessed with a unique environment and it wont take too long to see this for yourself with clean, safe river beaches, ocean side beaches boasting amazing rock pools and world renowned Jacques Point which has left point surf break for the avid surfers. Towering coastal sandstone cliffs bordering coastal reef fringes make great viewing platforms for the frequently visiting whales and dolphins.
Our magical National Park Gorges now with 2 sky walks and with the Murchison River being a backdrop will keep every member of the family occupied. Kalbarri now has a new cycle/walk path that runs the length of the town foreshore and passes the newly completed, awesome environmentally friendly huge pirate playground.
Kalbarri offers you activities such as canoeing, fishing, charters, crabbing, sailing, wind surfing, 4 wheel driving, quad bike riding, snorkeling, swimming, hiking, bird-watching, photography, golf, bowls, scenic flights, shopping, wildflowers just to name a few. So take an organised tour or use your own transport, go by boat, take a scenic flight, trek the cliff tops, abseil down them, cycle to the lookouts or just relax the choice is yours.

The River Retreat is in an ideal location in Kalbarri. A short walk to popular restaurants, the beach and the pubs! The kitchen is well equipped - best I have seen! Definitely do BYO toilet paper/bin bags. Beds are comfy with clean sheets and good pillows. No aircons in the bedrooms, but closing most doors will allow cool airflow down into bedrooms. There is no backyard for kids to run in, just a little sitting area with a BBQ and clothesline, though the table and chairs are situated in a nice narrow garden space.

Despite a faulty lock on the toilet door, a non-functioning extractor fan in the toilet and very poor lighting in most areas, the house was very well presented. I would suggest single beds provide for a much more flexible sleeping arrangement. In spite of this, I would book again.

Comfortable and well supplied accomodation that allowed us to bring our dog. The house was in a great location, had everything we needed for our weeks stay and was clean and tidy. We had a small problem when we got there in which the key did not work to open the door. The hosts were quick to respond to our SOS and did not give up until a solution was found and the problem fixed.
The one thing I thought needed attention was the back yard, it was closed in and secure for dogs but it is all gravel, cement or garden bed, no grass, and it needed weeding.

Located in a quiet street this nicely presented house is very conveniently located to the waterfront and shops. The third bedroom has a double bed rather than single beds and this limits the house's flexibility. Also, a bigger fridge/freezer or a second fridge/freezer would be welcome. The tariff during non-holiday periods is competitive. We would stay again, especially if the third bedroom had two single beds rather than the double bed.

The property was very clean, and the location was perfect. Allowing us to walk to the Pelican Feeding and the shops etc. The only downside was that the Bathroom Basin was blocked, but we didn’t let that spoil our holiday, making do by using the Laundry Trough instead. The property managers were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend the property. Looking to stay there again when we return in 2023.
